About

We are, indeed, in unprecedented times, and we face unprecedented challenges.  Wars and violence have taken a heavy toll in Africa, Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia. Some are labelled as ’war on terror’ others ‘humanitarian wars’ but in our vocabulary wars are wars in all manifestations. The rich are getting richer and the poor poorer: the strong are getting stronger and the weak weaker: the voices of lies are being heard and the voices of truth are being throttled.

At the London institute of South Asia (LISA) we are determined to combat the tsunami of disinformation and propaganda brainwashing our minds so successfully. LISA is mindful of the influences corporate controlled mainstream media bears on the ordinary mind. At LISA we do not seek assistance or support from any foundation, government, or mainstream media since they are driven by their corporate masters or their specific agendas. We have reasons to believe that mainstream media is controlled by governments and owned by corporate elite and world bankers. It is not just a commonly known fact but a historical and universal truth that government secret agencies (either your own or that of foreign powers) have managed to exercise leverage in mainstream media in order to deceive the public at large and to further their agenda with full impunity.

We are an independent voice determined to speak the truth and provide an alternative source of information and ideas for our readers. LISA needs your support in that we are looking forward to benefit from your candid view and your efforts to spread the truth wherever and how- so- ever you can.

Mission Statement

LISA shall campaign for human rights of all communities and individuals wherever they be with primary focus on South Asia. We are determined to expose discriminatory policies and actions of any nation that is directed against other nations or against its own people. We are committed to support all genuine freedom struggles. We are a campaigning organisation; it’s what we do. More specifically we are committed to the following:-

  • We are against military occupation of any nation.

  • We are against terrorism in all forms including state terrorism.

  • We are committed to support all genuine freedom struggles that have moral, historical and political legitimacy.

  • We support and respect the sovereignty of nations.

  • We support equal rights for all nations/people big or small, weak or powerful, rich or poor.

  • We support the rights of all indigenous people of nations.

  • We shall endeavour to protect people wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied

  • We support human rights and human dignity.

  • Finally last but not the least; we shall support the cause of truth and the fight against media disinformation.

Intrinsic to our mission is our dedication to humanity in general and for betterment of the people of South Asia in particular. Our ideological perspective is based on commitment to integrity, fairness, equal opportunity, human rights in intra sate and interstate relationships.  We shall be a voice for the freedom and rights of South Asian communities devoted to elimination of discrimination based on religion, caste, tribes, language, race or nationalities.

LISA shall try to bring on its platform leaders and academics, philosophers and thinkers, political scientists and historians who share its objective of peace and freedom for the peoples of South Asia.
